Bavaria 41 (2016) 'Toes'
This Bavaria 41 charter yacht available from Horizon Yacht Charters BVI base, designed in collaboration with Farr Yacht Design (USA) and Design Unlimited (UK), and built in Germany, delivers freedom, luxury and outstanding sailing performance for circumnavigation, family sailing and yacht charterers alike.
The clean deck design features an elegantly modern coach roof, and a spacious, ergonomic cockpit area. Twin wheel steering provides clear visibility on all points of sail and when anchoring or docking. There is easy access between the wheels to the giant swim platform – whether to take a dip, or to board the dinghy. There is seating for six at the cockpit table which has an integrated chart plotter, handrails and drinks holders. A large, easily accessible locker provides plenty of room for equipment. With a full array of Garmin integrated electronics and autopilot, combined with all sail controls led to the cockpit, this yacht is easily sailed short or single handed – get under sail in less than a minute, by rolling out the mainsail and 106% Genoa.
Below deck, our Bavaria 41 charter yacht is all about luxurious comfort and generous amounts of space. Her abundant hatches and the large coachroof windows, allow generous amounts of light and ventilation into the interior, making the living quarters even more comfortable. Interior styling offers a luxurious, contemporary ambiance. The two double cabins, together with two ensuite heads and showers, ensure comparable facilities for the whole crew. Intelligent design solutions below include a folding salon table and adjustable seating for dining with larger numbers. Food storage is greatly enhanced by the expansive 110 litre fridge, AND a 29 litre freezer.

Bavaria 41 (2016) 'Toes'Reviews
Clair Roberts, Charter Dates: 4/25/2017 to 05/03/2017
I’ve been to the BVIs several times and have always had a great time. This was my first experience with Horizon. I found them to be very organized and prepared. Their focus on detail is much higher that some of the other charter companies we’ve rented from previously.
The boat was clean and ready for action when we arrived for our live aboard. We had an issue with our genoa furler while out and they had someone there the next morning to address the issue and get us back to sailing.
Nanny Cay is a nice marina with a couple of restaurant options right at hand, a dive shop steps from the stern of our boat and a Riteway mini store that was surprisingly very well stocked.
Ian & Julie, Bavaria 41 (2 Cabins) "TOES "with Horizon Yacht Charters - Nanny Cay, Tortola, BVI, March 2016.
Rod was extremely thorough in both his chart briefing and his detailed review of all the systems of the boat. We very much appreciated his advice on great stops to visit.
The boat was a joy to sail and all the equipment was in great condition.
Andy Willis, British Virgin Islands, January 2017
Perfect selection of a company and yacht that met our needs.
Customer service and responsiveness of Horizons was above our expectations. We sailed on a Bavaria 41′, “Toes”. Boat was excellent. Sailed and handled beautifully. Cannot say enough about staff at Horizons.
William Gouty, 7/05/2017 to 07/12/2017
Comments from our client questionnaire:
Were the staff at Horizon Tortola friendly and accommodating? Yes, very much so!
Was the yacht clean and in good working condition? Yes, very nice sail boat, very well kept!
Was the yacht’s cooking and cleaning equipment sufficient? Yes, everything worked great!
Was the boat well ventilated? It was, and they even had scoops you could set up at anchor to bring in more ventilation. We had a generator and AC, so we did not use them, but it was nice to see it available.
Did the staff at Horizon Tortola do a good job familiarizing you with the yacht and its equipment? I was highly impressed with the briefing process. We went through a chart briefing, and a boat onboarding/briefing. We felt very confident with the boat, and our understanding of the operational nuances that are different from boat to boat.
Did you like the area you cruised? Of course… who wouldn’t!!! Norman Island, St. John USVI, Jost Van Dyke, Cooper Island, Marina Cay, Peter Island… wonderful trip!
We just loved the trip, we are already trying to nail down our next dates to come back down and cruise the Virgin Islands again!
