Horizon Yacht Charters Antigua Base is delighted to offer this Lagoon 440 “Ciao Italia” from our Antigua Yacht Sales team. Construction of the hulls below the waterline on the Lagoon 440 is solid epoxy laminate. Construction above the waterline, is a composite cored sandwich of fiberglass, epoxy and balsa, with stringers throughout for strength.
A bimini-shaded fly-bridge provides excellent visibility for the helm and incorporates a long bench seat for crew. All lines are led to the fly-bridge making the Lagoon 440 easy to sail when short handed.
The saloon is fully air-conditioned and has vertical windows affording excellent visibility and plenty of light. There are two opening windows forward for ventilation when not using the air conditioning. Interior headroom is throughout the boat is almost 7 feet. The cockpit seats ten and the cockpit table can be removed if desired and stored in a foldaway space in the cockpit roof. The cockpit is well protected from the sun and weather.
There are 4 well-appointed double cabins in the Lagoon 440 with plentiful hanging and storage space. The cabins are located in each aft and forward hull and each cabin is served with its own spacious shower and head. Each cabin has individually controlled air-conditioning. There are two additional single berths with deck hatch access located in the port and starboard forepeaks.
A sliding door offers access to the cockpit from the saloon. There is a well thought out “L” shaped settee and small table, nav staion and “L” shaped galley.
There are polished stainless steel counter tops, two deep stainless steel sinks, a 3 burner stove and oven and two front access refrigerator/freezer units. Microwave and other electrical items are aboard. There is an additional fridge and sink in the outer cockpit.
The main engines are accessed through hatches forward of the stern steps. The engine rooms are spacious and allow good access. The battery charger is above the port engine compartment. The Onan 4KW generator is neatly fitted behind the bench seating in the cockpit and is easily accessed by raising the cockpit seating. (hydraulic lift).
The dinghy is stored on davits at the rear of the boat. There is a hot/cold deck shower at the transom.
