Helia 44 Quatuor (2018) 'Altair'Gallery
Our new BVI cruising catamaran – the Helia 44 Quatuor – invites you to cruise in harmony with the beauty of your surroundings. Designed for maximum living space and boasting beautiful natural light throughout its interior, this elegant and luxuriously appointed catamaran also delivers dynamic performance at sea.
Immerse yourself in the panoramic 360° views made possible by the expansive saloon windows and integrated mast foot, marvel at the responsive handling in the spacious helm station, or surrender your cares as you relax in the cockpit or indulgent lounge deck. This cruising catamaran now has new features including an extra cockpit bench seat and additional davits. This catamaran also has a propane Barbecue to help maximise your outdoor living!
The Fountaine Pajot designers have provided a level deck to walk between the cockpit and the saloon, which opens up to give a true al fresco ambience to the saloon at anchor, and terrific communication and conviviality between the saloon, cockpit and helm position underway. The helm position is unique, in the way that it is both part of the cockpit, and part of the upper deck, which enables the skipper ( and two others) to sit at the helm, with unhindered 360 degree vision, whilst at the same time, being connected with the crew and activity in the saloon and cockpit. Next to the helm position is a sun deck, which makes for very sociable sailing.
All sailing control lines are led back to the winches just forward of the helm position on this Helia 44. The design allows Captain or crew to handle the sails, without cluttering the helm position itself with lines. With a powerful autopilot, and electric winch to hoist the mainsail, this yacht is easily sailed short-handed, and her 1,237 sq.ft of sail area, coupled with a 10.8-ton displacement, and outstanding bridge deck clearance, makes her fast and comfortable under sail
Worthy of Fountaine-Pajot’s prestigious Flagship status, the Helia 44 Quatuor represents an entirely new level in cruising lifestyles.

Hello Horizon BVI team,
Just wanted to reach out and thank you again for everything! Although it was a little different this time around we made it through all the hoops and had an amazing time! We missed spending time person to person with you ladies in the office but all was handled in such an organized manner! Jalon and Henry were very helpful in meeting our last-minute requests! We will be back!! Take care and wishing for everyone around the world that we soon put this pandemic behind us and get back to normal! Keep the vaccinations going!
Until next time!

Overall FANTASTIC experience! From booking to making arrangements online, to the on-site service and experience at Nanny Cay, we could not have asked for more. Our boat, ALTAIR was incredible and for our family of 9, we couldn’t have been more comfortable. The kitchen is outfitted with every possible appliance and cooking utensil you could ask for. And the living space was spacious and perfect for group dining and interaction. The sleeping quarters and bathrooms were impeccable. The team at Horizon provided first class service at every interaction, and when we had a slight issue with our tender, they had a part to us and had it fixed within a few short hours. The boat briefing was really well done and “extra” briefing on fishing for our kids was most appreciated.
We loved every minute and are counting the days until we can return again. We won’t charter through anyone else but Horizon after this experience. Well done, Team Horizon!

Find Your Rate
Did you know Horizon’s charters start and finish at noon, which means we can get you out sailing your first afternoon after your briefings and you sail back to our dock to debrief and refuel before your noon departure? This gives you a full 6 nights/7 days chartering around our beautiful islands, unlike some companies that start at 5pm, meaning you will have to sleepaboard* at the docks, and then finish at 10am, again meaning you will probably have to stay overnight on the docks the night before you leave to fly home.
*If available, a sleep aboard can be added the night before your charter start for a small supplement, boarding your yacht after 5pm.
Weekly rates (full 7 days / 6 nights) listed above daily rates. Charters start and finish at noon. Our minimum charter duration requirement is 5 nights.
BVI Charter Rates are subject to change without notice.
Horizon Yacht Charters BVI Charter Rates are listed above. Yacht photographs and specifications act as a guide and are for information purposes only. Although we endeavour to ensure that images are accurate reflections of the yachts in our fleet, certain aspects may vary slightly, such as yacht deck, the colour of the hull, dodger or bimini.
All yachts come with rigid inflatables & outboards, biminis, BBQ, Stereo, GPS, linens, towels, safety & galley equipment etc. See What’s Included for a full list.
C = Cabins, H = Heads, AC = Air Conditioning, S = Skipper first day only
*Additional $700 supplement per week applies from Dec 18 – Jan 4
May we advise that HDW insurance, Cruising Permits and National Parks Permit are payable before departure from the dock in cash or travellers’ cheques, as using a Credit Card will incur a 5% surcharge. Upon return of the vessel, you are required to top off the water and fuel tanks, which you receive full upon boarding the vessel.
BVI Charter Rates shown above are for 6 nights per vessel (min 5 nights except for Christmas and New Year min 7 nights + supplements on selected yachts) with the additional daily rate should you wish to add nights. BVI Charters start and finish at noon. Sleep-aboard (the option of staying onboard your yacht at the dock) with the boarding of your vessel available after 5.00 pm, can sometimes be added to the start of your charter at an extra charge of $75.00 per head per night (minimum of $200.00 per night), depending upon yacht availability.
