For those sailors looking for a Caribbean escape without sailing long passages or having to go through Customs & Immigration, our 6 night/7 day Grenada-Carriacou-Petit Martinique itinerary is perfect for you.
This itinerary is packed with a mix of uninhabited islands, chic, private-island resorts, quirky photo opportunity spots, great snorkelling and amazing food.
It is also perfect for those who want to combine a sail with a hotel stay or diving package at the beginning or end of the charter. As Grenada specialists, our Reservations Team will personally tailor the total package around your requirements.
As Grenada has an active cruiser population, if you are considering the cruising life, this would give you access to a wealth of knowledge from liveaboards at each anchorage. Sailors love to share their experiences; especially over a cold beer!
Sleepaboard – After your afternoon arrival, relax on-board with your complimentary sleepaboard. Start your vacation in style and enjoy cocktails and dinner at the “Dodgy Dock” restaurant at the True Blue Resort; just a short walk from your yacht.
Day 1 – Following the comprehensive yacht and chart briefing, depart from our base in True Blue Bay with your tailored sailing itinerary. Sail to Moliere Point and enjoy the Underwater Sculpture Park, the first of its kind in the world.
Day 2 – Sail to Tyrell Bay, Carriacou. Anchor amongst the local fishing boats and enjoy a stroll and drink ashore at one of the many rum shops before dining on board, or ashore at one of the beach-side restaurants.
Day 3 – Sail over and anchor between Petit St Vincent and Petite Martinique for the night, stopping at Anse la Roche Bay on the way for a swim and lunch onboard. Explore the tiny island of Petite Martinique; completely unspoilt by tourism.
Day 4 – Sail north to visit Mopion; a tiny spit of land with just one iconic, coconut, thatched sun shade. Camera’s at the ready! Then head back south to moor at Sandy Island. This uninhabited island is in a Marine Protected zone and provides amazing snorkelling.
Day 5 – Set sail back to Grenada, anchoring off St George’s or take a berth at Port Louis Marina. You will have plenty of options for dining ashore, our favourite being Patrick’s Home Style Cooking just outside the entrance of the marina. Grenadian food is served “tapas” style so you can try a bit of everything.
Day 6 – For a different perspective, sail to Prickly Bay or Clarke’s Court Bay; favourites amongst liveaboard cruisers. There is always plenty going on shore-side including weekly “jams” and other fun events.
Day 7 – After a leisurely breakfast sail back to True Blue for your Noon finish.
