The pandemic has reduced visitors to both Grenada and St Vincent, and given that most of our clients focus their sailing in the Grenadines, we are combining our charter fleets, and starting all charters from our St Vincent base for the winter 2021 – 22 season. This gives all our clients the opportunity to sail in the Grenadines with ease, with a wider choice of yachts and without clearing in and out with Customs and Immigration. For clients who wish to do a one way, we are still offering finishes in Grenada.
The good news is that St Vincent now has direct flights from Miami (American Airlines) Toronto (Air Canada) and London (Virgin Airlines) plus many other options via Barbados, so it is easier to visit than it was just a few years ago.
Horizon is focused to ensure our clients get the very best from their sailing trip. At present, St Vincent requires just 48 hours quarantine for fully vaccinated visitors. With a wide range of hotels and guesthouses available to quarantine, including the wonderful Blue Lagoon Hotel where our charter base is located it is a small price to pay to be able to cruise the Grenadines, visit Tobago Cays and enjoy the natural world that has proliferated due to fewer visitors. This is a golden opportunity to experience the Grenadines in their natural splendour. We look forward to welcoming you aboard.
