Our Home For Over 2 Decades

We’ve been based in Nanny Cay since the very beginning in 1998 – we’ve never left, which must say something! It’s a naturally sheltered, modern marina with berths for 180 yachts, a full-service boat yard and all the amenities you may need. Not only that, but it's a short reach across the channel from Norman Island, Peter Island, and Cooper Island, giving you various options on your first day of charter.

Luxury Amenities

The main shower and restroom facilities are located just behind the hotel foyer. Additional restrooms can be found at Peg Legs near The Beach Bar and near the Horizon dock behind Omar’s. For laundry needs, a full-service and self-service laundromat is available Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:30 am to 12 noon (closed Sundays). Same-day service is offered for laundry dropped off before 9:30 am.

Pool & Beach

Relax and unwind at the swimming pool and Nanny Cay beach. With a refreshing breeze and sweeping views across to Norman and Peter Islands, it’s the perfect spot to relax right into island time. The pool is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm for Nanny Cay hotel guests, marina visitors, and Horizon guests. The beach is just steps away, offering soft sand, clear water, and a casual, tropical vibe.

Restaurants

You’ll find several dining options right at Nanny Cay. Omar’s Dockside, located just below the Horizon office, is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Captain Mulligan’s Sports Bar at the entrance to Nanny Cay is perfect for catching a game, enjoying a meal, and letting the kids enjoy the play area. Peg Legs and The Beach Bar offer beachfront dining with laid-back vibes and ocean views. For a quick bite, smoothie, or excellent coffee, stop by Island Roots just down the dock.

Shops & Services

Just steps away from our dock are convenient shops and services to enhance your charter. Riteway, located right at the base of our office steps, is well-stocked with fresh produce, beverages, and essential grocery items. Relish, just beside Omar’s, offers a curated selection of gourmet specialty foods from the UK, USA, and South Africa. You’ll also find Arawak, featuring stylish resort wear and gifts, as well as a chandlery full of sailing essentials, a dive shop, and spa and hairdresser services for unwinding before or after your time at sea.

Yes, there are two stores in Nanny Cay you can provision from, Riteway and Relish. These are well stocked, but we would recommend ordering the bulk of your requirements of your arriving through one of our provisioning partners.

Just indicate to them you are chartering with Horizon and the boat name, and they’ll unload the provisions on the boat in advance of your arrival and make sure the perishables are in the fridge/freezer.

Our BVI Provisioning Guide

There is site-wide wifi at the marina, but it doesn’t quite reach the dock, so be sure to add a WIFI box to your booking if you need to WFY (work from yacht).

Add WiFi To My Charter

We can store your luggage when you arrive if you’d like to go provisioning or out for some lunch. If you need to leave bags at the base for the duration of your charter, this costs $10 per bag. We would always recommend bringing a soft suitcase to allow for ease of storage.

Where possible, we offer a sleep-aboard service at $75/ guest ($200 Minimum). You would be able to have access to your vessel from 17:00pm the night before your charter start.
