‘Groovy’ is a Robertson and Caine Leopard 44 catamaran ideally suited for your Grenadines crewed charter yacht!
Outside she has two dining areas aft and forward, a trampoline and loungers for relaxing and an aft bathing platform with easy water access. She is equipped with plenty of water toys, inflatables, kitesurfing equipment, snorkelling gear and games on board.
Inside, Groovy is equipped with air conditioning and fans throughout with two double cabins ensuite as well as a twin cabin ensuite with a forward small crew berth which is ideal for two or three children (or 2 adults!) sharing.
The crew use the fourth ensuite berth.
The boat has a water maker, commercial icemaker, cockpit drinks cooler, good refrigeration for ice cream and a large bbq – an ideal boat for enjoying meals and time on board. The crew Australian captain Steve and Polish Chef Monika run Groovy professionally yet informally with a relaxed and flexible approach.

About Leopard catamarans
Charter Experience
In 1994, South African builder Robertson and Caine entered into an agreement with the premier global yacht charter company, to manufacture specifically designed catamarans for its charter fleet. In less than 4 years, Robertson and Caine delivered the 100th catamaran with every one of them delivered on their own bottoms around the world: what better proof of their blue water capabilities?
Private Sales
Due to market demand, the relationship expanded with the launch of Leopard Catamarans in the year 2000. Sailors were impressed with the new line of catamarans coming from the Robertson and Caine factories and were interested in purchasing them for private use, making their own choice of layout, optional gear and delivery locations.
Launch Power Cats
In 2007 Leopard Catamarans ventured into the power catamaran market with the introduction of the Leopard 47 power catamaran. Because of the incredible fuel efficiency of this model, the Leopard 47PC was an instant success. Soon after, the Leopard 37PC was introduced to satisfy the demand for a smaller powercat. In 2011 this model was replaced with the Leopard 39PC, and in turn, in 2015, the Leopard 43PC. The Leopard 51PC replaced the Leopard 47PC and includes a multitude of exciting features such as a forward cockpit.
Skyrocketing Growth
In early 2012 the 1,000th Leopard Catamaran was launched, further establishing Robertson and Caine’s position in the catamaran market. Today, more than 2500 Leopard cats have been delivered around the globe. Captain : Steve
Steve’s sailing experience includes a few Atlantic crossings, lots of Caribbean sailing and plenty of sailing charters in the Mediterranean. Steve spend a number of years sailing in Greece and knows this cruising ground well. He has been sailing around the Caribbean and the Grenadine Islands for a number of years more recently and has gained valuable knowledge of all the great hideaway and local spots and best places to snorkel, fish, kite and explore.
Originally from Australia he has a very relaxed and fun personality with a good sense of humour. He was an Australian Navel Reserve Cadet from the age of 13 – 18 also and then went on to obtain various licences including his Captain licence of Commercial vessels. Whilst he has the qualifications and experience to keep his boat to the highest of standards, his style of skippering is informal and he has the flexibility to change itineraries as and when is required. Hobbies include kite-surfing (in fact GROOVY does do kitesurf charters for experienced kiters), as well as snorkelling, exploring, travelling and fixing / maintenance. He prefers being on the sea to on land, enjoys meeting new people and of course exploring new locations along the way.
Chef / Hostess / Crew : Monika
Monika has been brought up in the hospitality industry and tourism and loves entertaining and cooking. She was also previously a nanny and incredibly good at entertaining children. She has travelled a lot of the world including Africa and Asia working as a tour leader for 10 years. The past 6 years since she met Steve and started chartering and sailing together, she was a chef on various larger yachts as well as deckhand and hostess and has all the qualifications related to this.
Monika is a fantastic host and her food and meals are always fresh and well presented with no worries about catering for special diets, gluton free or any other requirements. Combined with Monika’s food and Steve’s sense of humour, sailing expertise and local knowledge, any guest is bound to have an amazing vacation.

Luxury Crewed Charter Rates
The Horizon Yacht Charters St Vincent Crewed Charter rates are for 7 nights per vessel and are based on number of guests. Please see individual yacht pages for detailed specifications and charter rates. Horizon Yacht Charters luxury crewed yacht charters comes complete with your own personal Captain & Chef (and in the larger yachts, first mate and hostess). Your meals aboard are included in the rate and prepared to your groups’ individual preferences and dietary requirements. Beverages are also included but please note special requests for specific brands may be subject to additional charge. Watersports equipment (such as paddle boards, kayaks etc) are also included and some yachts offer all inclusive diving.
High season rates typically apply from December to April, low season May to November, but please do check the seasonal rates for your yacht.
Each individual crewed yacht may charge for certain additional expenses (e.g. National Park Permit, Cruising permit, different port collections or departures). Please ask for a full break-down of costs for your chosen yacht.
All yachts come with tenders with outboards and safety equipment. Please review the individual yacht specification on our website for further details of available equipment and details of inclusions and exclusions.

Charter Rates shown above are for 7 nights per vessel (Christmas and New Year supplements on selected yachts). Crewed Charters usually start at noon and finish at noon, but please do check times for your particular yacht.
- Additional water-sports (other than those included on the crewed yacht) are all available at competitive rates.
- Hotel Accommodations throughout the islands can be arranged. Most major credit cards accepted. Please check our Accommodations page for more information.
Bookings & Cancellations
Bookings and Cancellations – We require a 50% deposit to confirm the reservation and the balance due of 50% no later than 45 days prior to charter start date. A smaller deposit and interim fee may be acceptable for bookings made more than 12 months in advance. Cancellation fees apply, and vary from yacht-to-yacht. Please check the specific terms for your yacht at the time of booking.
