Low-cost carrier Avelo Airlines is launching another new nonstop route to the Caribbean, part of the carrier’s push to open up connectivity to the region from smaller US markets.
The newest one? Wilmington Airport, which will soon see new nonstop flights to San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The new flight will begin operating in November, with one-way fares starting at $99, according to the company.
It’s yet another boost in seats for Puerto Rico, which has been seeing continued air traffic growth for much of the last three years.
It’s just a short flight from Puerto Rico to the British Virgin Islands!
