Bavaria 34 (2017) 'Maverick'
Overview

Bavaria 34The 2017 model Bavaria 34, designed by Farr Yacht design, is a capable family cruiser available from Horizon in the British Virgin Islands.

Built in Germany to a high standard, the 34 has a roller furling main and genoa, with all control lines easily to hand in the cockpit. The genoa winches have been moved aft, so the genoa can be trimmed easily by helm or crew. You can be under full sail in less than a minute. As the 34 carries her beam well aft, she benefits from twin wheels – great for helming visibility, with the added bonus of giving direct access to the transom swim platform, without any clambering around a single wheel. A full garmin electronics suite, including cockpit chart plotter makes navigation a breeze. The 34 is responsive on the helm, easily sailed short handed, and is the perfect yacht for a fabulous week ( or more) cruising around the islands.

Below decks, the 34 is beautifully finished with Sipo Mahogany joinery, light oak coloured cabin sole, and cream real leather upholstery. The galley, with stove, hob and fridge is to starboard, the navigation table to port, and with three surprisingly generous double cabins, there is room for family or friends.

You can review the list of included equipment and amenities Horizon Yacht Charters provides on all our Yachts.

Designed by Farr Yacht Design in the US (as all Bavaria monohulls are), the Bavaria 34 has modern lines complemented by an optimised layout from the experienced team at Design Unlimited in the United Kingdom. Bavaria 34 (2017) 'Maverick' Reviews
David Andrews (President and CEO American Hockey League), March 12th - March 19th 2017

Just a quick note to thank all of you for making our recent sailing vacation such a great one. Every aspect of our trip was terrific. Maverick was in impeccable condition and perfect for the two of us, the office staff and Lucy and Jon were terrific with respect to the boat briefing and the return process.

Couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. We will be back!

Peter E. Montgomery, February 6th 2017

We had an amazing trip.  Maverick was perfect, as were the people at Horizon.  Loved going in and out of Nanny Cay.   Did Norman’s (Sun), Jost Van Dyke Great Harbor (Mon), Foxy’s Taboo/Little Harbor (Tues.), Leverick Bay in Gorda Sound (W/Th.); Cooper Island Beach Club (Fri.), and back to Nanny Cay (Sat.).

Will have to repeat next year.
