Privilege 62 (2008) 'Sweet Ann Marie'
GalleryHorizon Yacht Charters are delighted to present Sweet Ann Marie, a Privilege 62 catamaran for luxury crewed charter in the British Virgin Islands.
You’ll find yourself doing a double take at how luxurious, beautiful, and elegant this Privilege 62 catamaran is. Sweet Ann Marie is impressive and sleek providing incredible versatility. She is the perfect platform for enjoying the Caribbean sunshine combining the highest possible standards, with optimum cruising, in relaxed comfort.
Stepping inside Sweet Ann Marie, you will notice the elegance of the design and the quality of the wood. The Salon has both a beautiful indoor dining area and a comfy sofa ideal for relaxing and taking in a good book. Both areas provide ample room for lounging indoors if preferred.
Immediately as you enter the salon you will notice the bar where your crew will prepare cocktails and drinks and still be able to take part in the conversations shared with their guests.
There is a “down” galley which is spacious and fully equipped to allow your chef to prepare culinary delights which can be enjoyed either in the air-conditioned comfort of the salon or al fresco in the cockpit.
Her feeling of space extends throughout the accommodations – an owner’s suite and two king-sized berths. The Privilege catamarans are renowned for the size and quality of their accommodations. The ensuite bathrooms are large and boast a separate shower stall each with a luxurious spa shower.
The buzz is all about the master stateroom. “She is clearly a luxurious sailing vessel but oh my, have you seen the owner’s suite!” All additional space has been dedicated to this berth.
Entry to the owner’s suite is through the short hallway which serves as both a dressing area and the entry to the ensuite bathroom. It has a desk, lots of storage and a mini loveseat. Two steps take you up to the boudoir with an enormous walk-around berth, plenty of dresser drawers and overhead hatches.
Oh, and lest we forget, Sweet Ann Marie has an outstanding exterior, too. The aft cockpit has ample seating for all guests, and you can easily walk from one side of the yacht to the other without ever setting foot, or disturbing the activity, in the cockpit.
The flybridge has huge sun pads on which to lounge while keeping the captain company and enjoying the beautiful scenery and sunsets the Caribbean has to offer.
For guests who prefer the outdoors, the foredeck and trampolines create fantastic large sunbathing and relaxation areas. The foredeck has an additional large sun pad for those wishing to soak up the sun while underway.
Sweet Ann Marie is equipped with a full range of water toys including water skis, towable toys, snorkel gear and fishing equipment
The combination of simplistic but superior design with her outstanding crew results in the ultimate luxury Caribbean cruising experience.

Crew Profiles:
MEET YOUR CREW
Captain: Charles Dang
Chef: Eleanor Thomson
Captain Charles was born in Washington state and at a young age his family moved to Texas. He developed a love for boating and sailing on frequent outings within the Puget Sound and the Gulf of Mexico. In later years he learned to sail himself and learned the art of hospitality while assisting friends on charters in both the Pacific Northwest and the Mediterranean.
Charles started work in the energy and medical industries. He holds degrees in mechanical engineering, biology, and business and although he had a successful career in the corporate world, he left it all behind in 2018 to realize his dream of living and working on the water. He has since run numerous charters throughout the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.
Charles can be described as a kind, outgoing person with a wicked sense of humour. His stories from his travelling background and easygoing personality make him an amazing host to all his guests both young and old.
In addition to sailing Charles is a seasoned traveller, constantly exploring new foods and cultures. Being a tourist at times, he understands how to make anyone feel at home in any new exotic environment, such as the Virgin Islands.
When not on the water you can find Charles restoring classic American muscle cars back in Texas. His background in engineering has never left him and he constantly loves to tinker and improve on things.
Eleanor grew up in the small seaside town of Dover in the Southeast of England. She grew up with a great appreciation of the outdoors, nature and adventure. Her mother, was born and raised in Africa, and her father, has a military background, she has lived and worked internationally. As such, trotting around the world on her own adventure is something that has come very naturally to her!
At nineteen she left the UK to study Mandarin at Nanjing University in East China, a real-life highlight and a great food-tasting opportunity. Since graduating Eleanor has travelled most of Far and South East Asia and has worked in China, organising cultural programmes for Western students – a very rewarding role. She is passionate about authentic experiences and the best of local food and culture.
During the pandemic, she took a corporate travel job in London. It gave her a detailed understanding of the travel and hospitality industry, however, she needed to get back to the frontline. She was keen to do something that combined all that she loves most; cooking, meeting great people, good weather, and an adventure! Since starting her dream job, she has worked as a chef on private charters in Greece and Croatia, and now the U.S. Virgin Islands.
