Captain – Luke Furnas
Captain Luke Furnas, a St Thomas native, has been exploring the Caribbean waters since he was born. His earliest memories are aboard his family’s boat angling, diving, and sailing throughout the beaches and bays of the Virgin Islands. With a local’s knowledge, he can find the secret coves, quiet beaches, and amazing reefs that will make your experience aboard unique and unforgettable. As a certified PADI Dive Instructor Luke is just as familiar with what lies underneath the water and is always ready to share that with guests!

Chef – Katie Saunders
Chef Saunders is a small-town girl with big world experience and is excited to bring her knowledge of food and fine dining to your vacation! With a background in catering, resort event planning, cafes, and organic eateries. Katie has always had a passion for cooking and entertaining. Her career brought her to the sunny island of St Thomas, where she fell in love with the simple, sweet way of island life. Soon after, the opportunity to cook on the water presented itself and she dove into the world of yachting. As a luxury yacht chef and chief stewardess with 6+ years of experience operating luxury yacht charters throughout the Caribbean, she will amaze you with her incredible food and warm hospitality!

Stewardess/Masseuse – Rita Fogta
Chief Stewardess and Massage Therapist Rita Fogta was born and raised in Hungary, but her passion for travel led her to voyage around the world, including exotic locations such as Thailand, Bali, Hawaii, and the Virgin Islands. Her life goal of helping people, made her trade in her office job to become a full-time massage therapist, working with clients at internationally renowned hotels and spas. Combining her passions for travel and massage, it was just a matter of time before the yachting industry became her calling. Nothing makes Rita happier than seeing relaxed and happy guests on board, and she’s always ready to provide the extra touches that make a vacation special. As an accomplished mixologist, Rita spends her downtime crafting new cocktail recipes. Her elixirs are as enchanting as she is.

First Mate/Engineer – Kevin Williams
Kevin Williams is an accomplished sailor with an adventurous spirit. Born and raised in Michigan Kevin has been navigating the waters of the Great Lakes since he was small. Earning his U.S.CG captain’s license at the age of 20 has given Kevin the many years of experience needed to deliver an exceptional charter. Having run a bevvy of first-class yachts Kevin knows the ins and outs of what makes an epic week and is excited to make amazing memories with each new guest.

If you’re looking for fun in the sun, he’s your guide for everything water sports! Whatever sport you’re ready to try, Kevin’s ready to help you learn. Taking part in local yacht races, he’s sure to know how to beat the other boats to the next anchorage under sail. As an avid free diver, he is skilled to teach you how to safely breathe and swim. Kevin is detail-oriented, personable, and professional and will make anyone’s time on the water fun, safe, and relaxing.

Passionate about the Caribbean, its population and history Kevin relishes the opportunity to share his home. Off the boat, he loves food, wine, travelling, and hiking. As a professional captain, his presence adds additional safety and security for guests as they participate in motorized water sports, as well as residing onboard Relentless II.

Luxury Crewed Charter Rates

The Horizon Yacht Charters BVI Crewed Charter rates are for 7 nights per vessel and are based on the number of guests. Please see individual yacht pages for detailed specifications and charter rates. Horizon Yacht Charters luxury crewed yacht charters come complete with your own personal Captain & Chef (and in the larger yachts, first mate and hostess).  NB some yachts may be skipper only (with the option of a chef) – they are stated as such. Your meals aboard are included in the rate and prepared to your group’s individual preferences and dietary requirements. Beverages are also included but please note special requests for specific brands may be subject to an additional charge.  Watersports equipment (such as paddleboards, kayaks etc) are also included and some yachts offer all-inclusive diving.

High season rates typically apply from December to April, and Low season from May to November, but please do check the seasonal rates for your yacht.

Each individual crewed yacht may charge for certain additional expenses (e.g. National Park Permit, Cruising permit, different port collections or departures).  Please ask for a full breakdown of costs for your chosen yacht. Additional supplements may apply at Christmas and New Year.

All yachts come with tenders with outboards and safety equipment. Please review the individual yacht specification on our website for further details of available equipment and details of inclusions and exclusions.

Yacht photographs and specifications act as a guide and are for information purposes only.  Although we endeavour to ensure that images are accurate reflections of the yachts in our fleet, certain aspects may vary slightly.

Please note that our bareboat repeat client discount does not apply to our crewed charter fleet.

Charter Rates shown above are for 7 nights per vessel (Christmas and New Year supplements on selected yachts). Crewed Charters usually start at noon and finish at noon, but please do check times for your particular yacht.

• Additional water-sports (other than those included on the crewed yacht) are all available at competitive rates.
• Hotel Accommodations throughout the islands can be arranged. Most major credit cards accepted. Please check our Accommodations page for more information.

An Environmental levy of $10 per head is payable by all visitors to the BVI on arrival (effective 1st Sept 2017).

Bookings and Cancellations – We require a 50% deposit to confirm the reservation and the balance due of 50% no later than 45 days prior to charter start date. A smaller deposit and interim fee may be acceptable for bookings made more than 12 months in advance. Cancellation fees apply, and vary from yacht-to-yacht. Please check the specific terms for your yacht at the time of booking.
