Spirit Airlines plans to launch five New Caribbean Nonstop Flights to Puerto Rico this spring.
On May 5, Spirit will kick off new nonstop service from Atlanta, Hartford, Dallas-Fort Worth, Detroit and Chicago-O’Hare to San Juan.
All of the new routes will be operating with daily service, with the exception of Hartford-San Juan, which will run three flights per week.
Spirit is also expanding on a number of other routes to Puerto Rico. On May 5, the carrier is adding an extra daily flight on flights to San Juan out of Baltimore, Newark and Fort Lauderdale. That will mean two daily flights to Puerto Rico on each of those routes.
